This project board has been developed to provide a low cost platform not only for the software development and construction, but also the base of a completed project. Simply add the required interface components, project case and away you go. No need to design a new PCB when you have completed the design and development phase of a project on a specific development platform.

Features:
Complete access to all the microcontroller I/O pins;
2 x 8 pin headers for the A and B 8 bit ports for the 18 pin
devices
1 x 6 pin header for the 6 GP0 to GP5 pins on the 8 pin
devices.
All header pins are clearly labelled with the Port designation.
Choice of Internal Oscillator, 3 pin ceramic crystals or 2 pin quartz crystals with capacitors.
4 pin header to connect to the I2C port on the 18 pin devices.
Pads for on-board reset switch.
4 pin header A with a PB Test switch to ground and a Red Test LED.
On-board 5V 7805T regulator so that the board can be powered from a 9V battery or an un-regulated power supply.
Green LED indicates power to the processor is ON.
6 pin header for PICKIT and ICSP programmer connection with links to select the 8 or 18 pin device in use.
5 pin header providing a TTL Serial connection for use with a boot loader or general serial communications. A level converter is required for RS232.
Large prototyping area with vertical power and horizontal DIP strip bus structure. An optional solder-less breadboard can be affixed to the prototype
for use with wire jumpers.
Small 90mm x 64mm high quality double sided board with solder mask and component code.
Supplied with Schematic Diagram and Parts List.
The board is supplied blank,
however an assembled and tested (without PIC) option is available. Please see the various options available below.
