The SiRF Star III Bluetooth GPS receiver is a very compact Global Positioning System receiver with Bluetooth
wireless communication. It sports high performance for its tiny size with Bluetooth wireless data transmission with
rechargeable and removable battery. It is small, light weight, easy to fit in hand and suitable for
any kind of the handheld device such as PDA, smart phone, etc.
The receiver allows you to receive GPS data on mobile handhelds wirelessly. By sending GPS position data over Bluetooth,
you can position the receiver for the best reception all without wires.
This unit works with our Odyssey Navigator Voice Navigation Software, along with GPSS, TomTom, Navigon, Navman, Fugawi, TrackRanger,
Expedition, Destinator, CoPilot, C-Map chart plotters, SOBvMAX and all other navigation software which accepts NMEA sentences of
type GGA, GSV, GSA, RMC. (optional VTG, GLL) . Please check your software user guide if it is compatible.

Also note this unit is not suitable for walkers needing continuous location updates, such as geocaching, however is perfect for driving, boating.
